This policy explains what data is handled when you visit this website or buy FLOD. FLOD is sold by Greg Robert, based in France.
1. Who handles your data
The website itself does not ask you to create an account and does not run advertising trackers. When you buy, your order and billing details are handled by our merchant of record, Polar Software, Inc. (Polar), who acts as an independent data controller for the payment. See Polar's Privacy Policy.
2. Payment data
We never see or store your full card number. Card details are collected and processed directly by Polar and its payment processor Stripe on secure, PCI-compliant systems. We receive only what we need to fulfil the order and keep our accounts (for example your name, country, email and the fact that a purchase was made).
3. The online preview
The "Try FLOD Online" preview streams audio from our server so you can test the plugin. It does not require an account and does not collect personal information about you. Standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address) may be kept for security and to keep the service running.
4. Email
If you email us for support, we use your message and address only to reply and to help you.
5. Cookies
This website uses only what is strictly necessary to work. Polar's checkout may set its own cookies needed to process your payment, as described in Polar's privacy policy.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and French law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to certain uses. For data tied to a purchase, requests can also be made to Polar. To reach us, email contact@volcanaudio.com.
7. Retention
We keep purchase and accounting records for as long as the law requires. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always the one on this page.
